Core Semester Classes

Offered each Fall and Spring semester, our 13-week Core Classes are an invitation into spaciousness and depth, for writers who seek to enrich their writing lives in a consistent and supportive community.

Certified facilitators offer prompts, activities, readings, and other resources to support writing practice, encourage new creative forays, or inspire ongoing projects. Each participant is encouraged to choose and develop their own subject matter and explore it in whatever form they wish.

Each class session is two and a half hours long.  The structure provides solitary writing time, sharing in large and small groups, and the regular opportunity to read aloud to a receptive audience. Journaling, memoir, poetry, and fiction are all welcome in the core class format. Participants learn to give and receive feedback based on each writer’s requests.

More Adult Classes

Shorter and themed class series, Equinox and Solstice Circles, Free Samplers—these programs offer many ways to begin or continue your journey of writing in community.

Soul Collage

SoulCollage® is the practice of making collage cards that invite an intuitive self-discovery process – a visual doorway to one’s inner wisdom. Significant to the practice is writing and sharing these insights within a safe community. Access deep intuitive wisdom through imagery, collage, and writing. Participants move toward creating a deck of collaged cards that evoke innate healing, self-discovery, and surprising inspirational forays!

As Covid-19 continues to be part of our lives, our sincere desire is to protect and care for each other and our wider community.   Please click here for our current safety protocols.
