Homeschool Writing Circles
Our circles complement all homeschool methods and lifestyles. Using writing as a tool, young people are encouraged to write in a safe space free of criticism. Here we share writing, learn to listen and offer feedback, and become stronger writers by writing, enjoying writing, and being part of a writing community.
There is a place in our circle for your child to discover the stories inside their lives and imagination. Each workshop will bring about new ideas and learnings while helping to build confidence, self-expression, and leadership.

Creativity is born out of something: a walk in the woods, inspiration from a story, a vacation, or the journey that is daily life. Using poetry to guide us, we’ll honor and explore our creative spirits. We’ll write what wells up in us: the silly stories, the sad ones, the observant and reflective ones. We will learn to listen to the stories others have to tell, to lift them up and together nourish our creativity. Facilitated by Kelly Sage and Laura Lausertmer
