Gather for a warm and generous three night retreat in mid-January to nurture yourself and your writing. We will write, reflect, and share together, gaining inspiration from one another and the creative process. In the peaceful and inspiring setting of Waycross Camp and Conference Center in Brown County, the comfortable rooms, meeting spaces and natural beauty just outside will invite you into engagement with the retreat’s intimate and honest writing circles. Experienced and beloved facilitator Rebekah Spivey will lead the group through spacious agendas that will lift up and support individual participants and the group as a whole.
All women, including trans and nonbinary women, are welcome.
Tuition assistance is available; click here to apply.
The deadline to apply for tuition assistance is Jan. 2, 2025.
Note on double rooms: To share a room, you’ll need a roommate. 🙂 If you have a roommate in mind, please note her name in the “comments” field at registration; she’ll need to register too. If you don’t have a roommate, but would like to share a room, please choose “one person, sharing double room, pay deposit only” above. If another writer requests a roommate, you’ll room with her and pay the double room rate. If no other writer wants a roommate, you’ll be placed in a single room, and pay the single room rate. Your deposit is not refundable if no roommate is found.
Please note retreat payment policy: For all retreats, a non-refundable $100 deposit is required at the time of registration to guarantee your seat in the circle. Registrations received without deposit will be confirmed only when the deposit is received. The balance of your payment must be paid by its due date in order to continue to hold your seat. Registrations with an unpaid deposit or a past-due balance may be “bumped” by paid registrations from the waiting list. For more payment policy information, click here.
Due dates for this retreat:
- Deposit due at registration.
- Balance due Jan. 8, 2025.
- Withdrawals: you must notify us of your withdrawal by Jan. 8, 2025, in order to receive a refund, minus the non-refundable deposit.
